August 2007 – March 2010 COURSEWARE DEVELOPER AND CONTENT WRITER Contracted by several CE providers during this time to author new courseware, to revise and update existing courses, to generate literally thousands of exam questions for clients' existing offerings, and to convert text based courses to classroom equivalent products for interactive delivery.
May 2004 – July 2007 Real Estate License Services, San Diego, CA COURSEWARE DEVELOPER AND CONTENT WRITER Performed extensive revision and update of eight real estate prelicensing courses and created thousands of associated quiz and exam questions. Revised and updated real estate continuing education courses. Authored new real estate and insurance CE courseware. Also wrote thousands of insurance questions for practice test banks with answers and rationales.
Was extensively involved in adapting and preparing text-based courseware for interactive, Web-based delivery, including conversion to HTML and PDF. Populated tens of thousands of fields in large, online test bank databases.
The increased workload necessitated the hiring of an additional InkSlingers author/editor.
November 2001 – May 2004 COURSEWARE DEVELOPER AND CONTENT WRITER Under contract wrote several courses including state-specific insurance ethics courses for Georgia, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and Utah; Long-Term Care; The Personal Auto Policy (ISO 1998); and Homeowners 2000.
