To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to provide an enthusiastic professional reference for Ms. Denise lona, President of InkSlingers Research and Writing Services, Inc., as well as for Mr. Charles Jackson, an editor and writer at InkSlingers.
I have worked with Ms. lona for more than three years and with Mr. Jackson for two years. During this time, in which they worked on many, many projects for us, they consistently provided work of only the highest quality and could always be depended upon to meet the most demanding deadlines.
I appreciate the fact that Ms. lona and Mr. Jackson require no handholding when working on projects. They are solely responsible for the organization and content of the courses they write. I need only describe the type of course and the number of credit hours and they take it from there, researching the requirements and producing a finished product which meets state specifications. I am especially impressed with their command of the language, which results in concise, grammatical, and very readable text that communicates concepts and information easily.
Consistently, I have been amazed at how readily the lona-Jackson team can accommodate a sudden change of course. RELS has challenged InkSlingers with many different types of projects, often with little or no notice and a requirement for fast turnaround. This has sometimes necessitated temporarily halting a current task in order to execute a more urgent one. Ms. lona and Mr. Jackson have unfailingly responded to such unexpected requests and tight deadlines with confidence and good humor, thus easing the burden on my end immeasurably.
A partial list of the many and varied tasks which I have asked InkSlingers to carry out includes: · authoring real estate CE and prelicense courses; · authoring insurance CE courses; · adapting paper-based courses to online delivery format (conversion to HTML, database population, etc.) · revising and updating previously published courses; · scanning and converting to electronic format hard copy courses for which there were no e-files; and · writing massive numbers of insurance and real estate practice, quiz, and exam questions, answers, and rationales.
Like many providers of coursework, RELS is in the process of moving from a paper-driven operation to a Web-based delivery system. As anyone who has undertaken such a transition can attest, there are many issues to be addressed, not the least of which is conversion of hardbound content to a form and format which will take advantage of interactive capabilities.
Mr. Jackson and Ms. lona have been of immense help in this regard, working with our technical staff to convert and process our coursework, along with the associated quizzes and exams, to forms that are best suited for online delivery. This includes not only the courses they have written for RELS, but our existing inventory of courses as well. The latter required extensive revisions and updates to the original text before the process of adapting the works for Web delivery could commence.
In short, I will not hesitate to use the services of the InkSlingers team for future projects, and I wholeheartedly recommend the fine services of the InkSlingers team to anyone who values quality and professionalism.
