DENISE’S PROFESSIONAL BIO:

For the past 16 years, I have authored continuing education courses for the insurance, real estate, and securities professions. Brief modules have been only a few pages, while full courses have ranged from 10,000 to 40,000 words. My most extensive effort was a comprehensive 187,000-word treatment of practical estate planning.

My 16-year writing career reflects the creation of instructional materials and training manuals and editing, updating, and verifying the content of existing courses.

My competitive element is my ability to research material from various sources, comprehend complex and new information, and relate the material to diverse audiences in a fresh and meaningful way.

I possess an expert command of grammar, spelling, and technical writing maxims; a working knowledge of effective business communication; a self-motivated work ethic; a strong personal drive for quality; and excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills when working with peers and client groups.

The e-learning platform is becoming the preferred delivery medium for continuing education. In addition to my ability to write new course material, I am skilled in converting clients’ existing print-based courses to interactive, Web-based delivery.
